Wayne MacInnis
Our principal, Wayne MacInnis began his career in international education in rural Zimbabwe in 1981. A native of Toronto, Canada, he earned his Masters degree in Educational Administration at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education after completing his undergraduate work at the University of Western Ontario.Wayne has been a school leader for over 25 years and was the founding principal of the Canadian International School in Singapore where he spent a decade developing one of the finest institutions in that city state. Wayne also takes great pride in the growing reputation of Raha as a school of choice for students, parents and teachers. Wayne joined Raha International School in 2007.


MYP Coordinator,
Sharon Thompson
Sharon is originally from Australia. After completing her teaching degree in her home state of NSW Sharon's first teaching post was in an aboriginal mission school in an isolated location in the Northern Territory. Sharon continued her teaching in the Northern Territory in schools in Darwin for fifteen years; as well as raising three children. Sharon's first international experience was in Indonesia. As MYP Coordinator she led that school throughout the candidacy and authorisation process for the MYP. Sharon moved next to Portugal where she held the position of MYP coordinator guiding the school through the program evaluation process. Sharon is also an IB workshop leader, team member for authorisation and evaluation visits, consultancy visitor and is presently the senior moderator for the Personal Project for the Middle Years Programme. Sharon firmly believes the MYP is the best preparation for the students to achieve success in all their future endeavours.

PYP Coordinator,
Craig Eldred
Craig Eldred joined Raha in the summer of 2014 as the Primary Years Programme Coordinator. Craig has worked in a range of educational settings as both teacher and administrator for the past 27 years and has worked in special school and mainstream primary schools in Sydney, Australia and London, England. With vast international experience, he has worked at Utahloy International School Guangzhou, China; the Universal American School Dubai, UAE; and Australian International School in Saigon, Vietnam. He is also an IB Primary Years Programme Workshop Leader and IB PYP Online Workshop Facilitator. Craig’s wife, Lorraine works as an early childhood teacher at Raha. They have two daughters, Tahlia, who attends Raha and Amelia who is still in pre-school
DP Coordinator,
Mark Noonan
Mr. Mark Noonan joined Raha International School in September 2013 as Diploma Coordinator. Mark comes from International School of Nice where he also served as the Diploma Programme Coordinator. Originally from Colorado, USA, he has been teaching and in education for the past 19 years. Thirteen of those have been overseas working in Turkey, Switzerland, Serbia and France. He is looking forward to being part of the Raha International School community and working with Diploma students as they complete their high school education.
