Principal: Wayne MacInnis, Canadian national, holds a M.Ed. in Education Administration, a B.Ed. and a B.A. He has been in international education for over 25 years, predominantly as an administrator. Before coming to RIS, he was principal of Island Academy in the West Indies and was founding principal of the Canadian International School in Singapore.
Ranking: Among the top schools in Abu Dhabi, officially recognized as a "high performing school."
Accreditation: Raha International School is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEACS). A Regular Member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS), RIS is also fully authorised to deliver the IB’s PYP, MYP and DP Programmes.
